What's it about?

A Fender Telecaster, rebuilt using a scrap of sugar maple wood, passes by seeming chance to different owners over the course of a half century.

Strange and Nefarious

After each owner discovers the guitar, they write a single with it. But then they part with the instrument in ways that are sometimes unexpected, unwelcome or unexplained.

A Multi-Decade Journey

Throughout the eight-episode season you'll meet musicians from different genres, backgrounds, and eras, to slowly uncover the true history the Sugar Maple guitar.
