What is this?

Sugar Maple NFT is a 10,000 piece digital art collection (5,000 characters, 5,000 posters) that commemorates the 8-episode podcast series.

Each piece of art, known as an "NFT" (non-fungible token), is stored permanently on the blockchain. When you own a Sugar Maple NFT you are welcome to print it out, give it to someone else, or even sell / auction the piece using popular websites like OpenSea.io.

To encourage more NFT awareness, Sugar Maple launched 2 batches completely free, in limited edition runs of 500 and 1,000 pieces, between Mar 1 - 15, 2022. Remaining pieces are being sold for 15 $MATIC tokens each, approximately $20 at the time of this writing.

When does minting begin? March 15, 2022 at 8a ET.

How much Ethereum should I buy? The price of ETH changes frequently, but each Sugar Maple NFT costs around $20. If you want to buy 2 characters you should multiply ($20 * 2), then add additional funding for "gas" fees, which are required to bridge your Ethereum to Polygon. To be safe, it's best to buy $100-200 Ethereum -- even if you just want to buy 1-2 characters -- then convert the rest to cash or leave it in your MetaMask account for future NFTs.
